When planning Holborough Bakes there were non-negotiables on what we wanted to deliver.
Community is at the heart of what we do, Holborough Lakes is a place where people say hello in passing, stop and chat, play games on the green. We wanted to add to the community and immerse ourselves further into the amazing place we all share.
We have created a space and a brand for people to come and feel part of, to relax, catch up or sit and read a book or a newspaper.
Homemade cakes & bakes made with passion and with a love for great taste, using quality ingredients, always offering something a little bit different but with a familiar consistency that keeps people coming back.
We have partnered with some of the UK's top brands and proudly serve Kent based, Award winning Speciality Grade Coffee from Lost Sheep Coffee (wait till you taste their House Roast... its incredible!)
We have placed great emphasis on Environmental Sustainability, from our Electric assisted trike (its really heavy!) to our LPG dual fuel Espresso machine and importantly our packaging being recyclable and compostable where able. We will always finish a day selling coffee & cakes by walking the development doing a litter pick as our way of giving back to the Community.

ABOUT US
AARON & RACHAEL
We are Husband and Wife, who have been together for 18 years, meeting during our careers in the Motor Industry and later marrying at Leeds Castle in 2014.
We bought our home here in 2015 and love being part of such a special community. You will often see us out and about walking around the development. We love, the outdoors, walking, paddleboarding, great food & simply making the most of every day!
Rachaels battle with Breast Cancer gave us both some new perspective and the push to finally create create Holborough Bakes, an opportunity to work together doing something we love.
As a Management Accountant Rachael has a keen eye for numbers which keeps me in check! She is a natural people person, loved by everyone who meets her.
She will be there to greet you and serve up our tasty Cakes, Bakes & Coffee ( She especially looks forward to meeting all of the gorgeous Doggies who come for a Puppycino!)
I'm the baker and Barista at Holborough Bakes. My love for all things cooking & baking is born form a childhood watching, learning and helping my Dear Nan in her kitchen.
A dream of mine for many years has been to combine my professional background and perfectionist nature with my passion for great food & great coffee.
I have worked for Jaguar/Land Rover for nearly 30 years, from a Master Technician to Managing a busy Service & Sales Centre and have always been passionate about delivering first class client care as well as managing a team of like minded people to deliver a professional, warm, personalised experience.
We cant wait to meet all of our new friends, neighbours and lovely community here at our Home... Holborough Lakes

Waking to the sound of the Waterbirds, with the sun reflecting off the lake. The bubble of divers heading below the surface whilst swimmers brave the cold.
The colours changing through the seasons as you walk the trails, passing friends old & new, neighbours, dogs, nobody is s stranger here.
Families play cricket with make shift wickets, and football with jumpers for goal posts.
We celebrate Jubillees and coronations, help Hedgehogs and pick litter.
From first steps, to first bikes, fist schools to first cars, neighbours move on and neighbours move in
We are a community and the best communities are born our of Indivduals being their best selves.
